COMPLIANCE FRAMEWORK

Introduction

What really sets Mitchambers apart is our dedication to supplying a compliance framework that allows business owners to learn in a clear and transparent way.

We make sure that clients can participate in a way which is compatible with their own existing compliance obligations.  In short, mitchambers doesn’t offer a ‘one size fits all’ solution, but rather we will provide you with consultation and learning that best suits the needs of you and your business.

For council of expert members

Our council members must continually adhere to the terms and conditions that are set out for them in their contracts. See terms and conditions here for more information. By agreeing to our terms and conditions council members will

  • Not participate in projects which violate any agreements that they have with third parties.

  • Not provide any information deemed to be confidential to any of our clients.

  • Will keep client information strictly confidential.

  • Will agree to stop any large projects if it relates to issues that they are unable to discuss.

Training

Our council members will be required to go through our interactive training tutorials each year to ensure that their conduct with clients is of the highest level.  Training will be  individually catered (depending on the sector) so the learning of each expert might vary.

Conflict management

At mitchambers we reserve the right to disqualify experts from projects if we feel they are unsuitable for them. This will be determined by our own questionnaires, which will help us determine whether one of our experts is suited to provide advice for a client on a specific issue.

For clients

We understand that clients will want to engage with their expert in a way that suits them. This is why we have created our very own online tool to ensure that they are getting exactly what they require from their expert consultant.

Through their very own dashboard, clients will be able to monitor a project’s progress in real time. In addition to this, they will be able to view the profile of the council members that we have recommended to them for a consultation service.

Clients will also have the ability to set up pre-approved questions for one of our potential experts as a way to determine how suitable they are to provide their expertise. These are questions that an expert must respond to before they are able to offer their consultation with a potential client.

For Employers

At mitchambers, we recognise that there is a fundamental difference between employed experts and independent consultants (people who run their own business) this is why we ensure that any projects, where one of our experts is employed, will not participate in a project that is related to their own employer.

We ensure that any expert that we use is given approval by their employer, so that we know that they are allowed to be providing consultancy work. mitchambers constantly reviews corporate policies of many different companies to see if they have issues relating to outside consulting.

We will work with employers by enforcing their own guidelines and standards in relation to any council experts that we use from their companies. This is why we have our own database of employer preferences so that we can properly enforce their consulting policies.
